Dr. Pamela Adams : Originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Reverend Dr. Pamela Adams is the Director of Spiritual Life and University Chaplain at Delaware State University. A true Southern Belle at heart, she stands on the values of faith, family, friendship and fried fish! She served proudly in the United States Air Force for 9 ½ years, while simultaneously matriculating through Seminary and obtaining undergraduate, graduate, and terminal degrees in Theology. An expert in the arena of spiritual rehabilitation with over 17 years of experience, she has received training in Clinical Pastoral Education and Family Advocacy at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital, as well as certification in Christian Counseling through the National Christian Counselors Association of Sarasota, Florida.Dr. Adams is the Principal and Owner of Faithful & Favored, Inc. a Lifestyle Management Firm. Faithful & Favored provides emotional and spiritual maintenance tools through Peace Together, LLC, a counseling practice, and The Servant Leader, LLC, focusing on church administration and ministry enhancement. Her empathetic demeanor and compassionate disposition make her a trusted advisor on all things related to spiritual and emotional maintenance. Her desire is for everyone to live a faithful and favored life!

Dr. Suzette Henry-Campbell: Dr. Suzette Henry-Campbell is a lecturer in the Mona School of Business and Management, at the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. In that capacity, she weaves together her professional, personal, and academic lived experiences to support students’ learning outcomes. She approaches her engagement with students in a candid way which invites participation by even the most introverted in her groups.The deliberate design of her classes supports co-creative dialogue, giving students an opportunity to examine their own experiences in the broader picture of our contemporary world.

Her expertise in conflict resolution at the organizational level, leadership, and contemporary issues, has opened the door to facilitating learning and development programs in the corporate space. She is enthusiastic about such opportunities because it provides access to adult learners with decision-making authority who impact the health of organizations. These opportunities help to expand the lens to strengthen learning outcomes.

In reflecting, Dr. Henry-Campbell believes her natural curiosity, eagerness to understand cultures, beliefs, and attitudes offers opportunities to resolve conflicts even those that are very complex. She recognizes the need to cultivate spaces where people feel safe to share their perspectives which has the potential to uncover shared interests. This means she prioritizes the act of reflective listening which helps students self-regulate their emotions while becoming aware of their own responses to prickly issues. Such practices were adopted from her doctoral degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, which she earned from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She will quickly tell you that self-examination is critical, especially at the adult stage of one’s life – and so education, both formal and informal, is ideal for understanding how we show up and navigate complex and diverse spaces.

A doting mother to two children, Dr. Henry-Campbell prioritizes her relationship with them by modeling the principles of life/work integration. They may not always join her on some of her favorite activities, such as hiking, but traveling and fitness goals appear to be embedded in their DNA.

Dr. Theresa Brown: Dr. Theresa Brown is an educator, a Certified Life Coach, Professional Development Trainer, Speaker, and the mother of two children Chelsea (16) and Rylan (12). She provides workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, aiding personal and professional growth through the study and practical applications of John Maxwell’s proven leadership methods. She has an Education Doctorate Degree in Instructional Leadership and over 20 years of experience in education in which the last decade has been in public education. She has a passion and love for helping individuals and organizations prioritize self care to prevent burnout. Her work includes national presentations at the New Teacher Center Symposium, Atlanta Public Schools: New Teacher Seminar: Assessing All Learners and Effective Classroom Environment, National Council of English Teachers Conference, and College Board Conference: A Dream Deferred: The Future of African Americans. The Detroit native believes professional training and personal development are the keys to living one’s authentic life. After losing her mother to cancer and going through a divorce in the same year, she knew a change was needed in her life. She invested her time and energy in personal growth and development which lead to the creation of High-Performance Consultants. She is dedicated to adding value to people all over the world. She is the author of, “The Secrets and Seductions of Living in the Middle East” which is a memoir of her experience living in the middle east with her daughter. The book vividly depicts her time in the middle east which served as the biggest transformation of her life and her discovery of the importance of self care.

Kofi Addai: Kofi Addai is the Associate Director for Stop Bias and Hate Initiative at Syracuse University, where he oversees Bias Education and Response initiative and delivers educational workshops in collaboration with campus partners to foster a respectful, welcome and inclusive campus environment. Prior to joining Syracuse University, Kofi was the Associate Director at the North Side Learning Center. In addition, Kofi worked with InterFaith Works of CNY, where he coordinated and facilitated racial and equity dialogues for community organizations, businesses, and educational institutions. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in education from Le Moyne College. Kofi lives in Syracuse, New York with his family and he enjoys spending time with his family volunteering, hiking, camping and gardening.

Ellie Saadat: Ellie Saadat is a MSW Field Education Specialist and Co-Instructor at Arizona State University School of Social Work. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University majoring in Social Work and minoring in Psychology. She completed her internship at Project CHAMPS of Lubbock, TX working with HIV positive individuals. She volunteered with a senior living facility and a community clinic in Lubbock, but after completing her internship, she knew her passion laid with the LGBTQ+ community. Shortly after finishing her bachelor’s, she applied and was accepted at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX for the Social Work graduate program. While completing the graduate program, she was able to serve as a graduate research assistant conducting research at WTAMU and Hong Kong measuring impacts of empathy by performing various simulations. She completed her field placement at a local agency serving the HIV positive population in Amarillo, TX, where she was hired on full-time and served the community as a Medical Care Manager and Education Coordinator for over six years.
